The Parlour at Scholefield House contains all of the orginal features and feel of this 1892 Victorian
Queen Anne house.
The wood-burning fireplace is the original and was first intended to burn coal mined by the Dunsmuir mines up-island.
The functioning fir pocket doors were designed to separate the formal parlour from the family
living room.
Now decorated in Victorian style with period art and furniture, it is now the room where guests enjoyed the five course breakfast each morning.
